Who is Cempaka's advisory for? +

We work with owners of small businesses — typically those running their business alone or with a small team, who face decisions without a reliable sounding board. Our clients tend to be thoughtful people who want careful counsel, not generic advice.

What kind of questions can I bring to a session? +

Almost anything that touches your business direction: whether to expand, how to manage a difficult client relationship, whether a new product line makes sense, how to read your numbers, or how to think about a partnership offer. If it matters to you, it is worth discussing.

Do sessions happen in person or online? +

We offer both. Clients in Shah Alam and the Klang Valley are welcome to meet at our office in Seksyen 9. For those elsewhere in Malaysia, we meet via video call — the quality of conversation is no different.

How quickly can I arrange a session? +

We aim to respond to all enquiries within one working day. A Quiet Hour session can often be arranged within a week of first contact. The Considered Review and Counsel on Call engagements are discussed in a short introductory call before we confirm a start date.

Is what I share kept confidential? +

Yes, entirely. Everything you share — financial details, business plans, personal concerns — stays within the engagement. We do not discuss client situations with anyone outside our practice.

How is payment handled? +

We accept bank transfer (local Malaysian accounts) and online payment. A Quiet Hour is settled before the session. Considered Review and Counsel on Call engagements are invoiced on agreed terms discussed at the outset. All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit.
