We begin by listening, not advising
Every engagement at Cempaka starts the same way: before we offer any analysis or options, we spend time understanding the specific situation in front of us. We read the materials a client provides, we ask questions and we establish what the actual decision or problem looks like โ not what it appears to be on the surface.
This is slower than arriving with frameworks ready. It is also more useful. The session time is then spent on analysis and options, rather than on gathering information we could have gathered beforehand.
Enquiry and orientation
You send a brief note. We respond within one working day and determine together which engagement fits your situation.
Pre-session preparation
We share a short briefing document. You complete it at your own pace โ it helps us understand your business before we meet.
The advisory session
We meet โ in person in Shah Alam or via video โ for a structured, focused conversation. We listen, question and offer perspective.
Written reflection and follow-up
Within two working days, we send written notes โ covering what was discussed, options considered and any open questions. We follow up to check how things develop.

A Quiet Hour
RM 700 ยท Single session
One hour of focused, undistracted thinking with a principal advisor. You bring one pressing question. We talk through it carefully, help you see it from different angles and outline a couple of considered options to take away. Suited to owners weighing a single important decision โ an investment, a pricing change, a partnership, a staffing question โ who want a thoughtful perspective before committing.

Considered Review
RM 2,000 ยท Five-week engagement
A careful, unhurried look at the whole business โ finances, operations and direction โ over five weeks. We examine what you've built, how it is functioning and where the pressure points lie. We then offer measured recommendations in a written report, with two advisory sessions and a follow-up conversation to ensure the findings land correctly. Aimed at established small businesses seeking thoughtful, balanced assessment rather than quick conclusions.

Session Three
Counsel on Call
RM 3,300 ยท Six-month engagement
A six-month advisory relationship โ a steady, reflective presence as decisions arise across the longer road. We meet monthly, keep your plans current and considered, and think alongside you as the business moves forward. Between sessions, we remain available for brief consultations on time-sensitive questions. Suited to owners who want a calm, dependable advisor rather than occasional input on individual decisions.
